Daysy - Your personal fertility tracker (incl. free app DaysyDay)

I absolutely love my Daysy! It has become such an extension of myself, so deeply interwoven into my self-care and daily routine that being without it feels like forgetting to brush my teeth or leaving the house without underwear. Something just doesn't feel quite right!

I've always been a naturalist at heart and have never felt comfortable with the idea of using contraception that interferes with my body's natural cycle. I've also never particularly liked condoms, as I feel they create a physical barrier to the skin-to-skin connection that, for me, is such an important part of genuine intimacy. They tend to dull the experience, which I've always found somewhat ironic given that intimacy is all about feeling and connection.

Having experienced three abortions when I was younger, I also developed a very real fear of sex because of the possibility of another unwanted pregnancy. So when I first discovered Daysy, I absolutely loved the concept, but naturally, I was sceptical about whether I could truly trust it.

Fast-forward more than 10 years, and I can confidently say that Daysy has completely transformed my relationship with my body, my cycle and intimacy.

Throughout those years, I've had a regular, active sex life and have followed Daysy's instructions and precautions religiously. Despite considering myself highly fertile, I haven't experienced a single unwanted pregnancy during that time. My personal experience has given me an enormous amount of confidence and trust in this little device.

Of course, Daysy isn't a contraceptive in itself, and that's an important distinction. During fertile days, you still need to use protection or abstain from intercourse if you're avoiding pregnancy. However, what I love is the freedom and peace of mind it gives me during the other days of my cycle. Being able to understand my fertility patterns and make informed decisions without interfering with my body's natural processes has been incredibly empowering.

The physical device itself is also beautifully made, durable and reliable. Mine has lasted several years without any issues. I did unfortunately have to replace one after accidentally spilling water on it, so perhaps a waterproof design would be a wonderful addition in the future! But that's really just a bonus rather than a criticism.

And now, what truly elevates Daysy from a wonderful product to an exceptional experience is its customer service.

I can genuinely say that Daysy has, by far, the best customer service I've ever encountered from any company. The team is incredibly compassionate, caring, attentive and genuinely helpful. They respond to enquiries promptly and go above and beyond to make you feel supported.

What I particularly appreciate is that their care doesn't seem to end once they've made a sale. Whether your device is under warranty or not, you never feel forgotten or left to navigate things alone. There's a genuine sense that they're there alongside you throughout your entire Daysy journey, ready to help whenever you need them.

In a world where customer service can often feel impersonal and transactional, Daysy is a refreshing exception. Their kindness and dedication are something I value enormously, and quite frankly, I would continue supporting this company for its customer service alone!

After more than a decade, Daysy is so much more to me than a fertility tracker. It's a tool that has helped me reconnect with my body's natural rhythms, develop a deeper understanding of my fertility and reclaim a sense of confidence and freedom around intimacy that I once thought I'd lost.

I love the philosophy behind this product, I love the device itself, and I have tremendous respect for the people behind it.
